Books by the Bridge is an author book-signing event located on the beautiful Sydney Harbour.

With spectacular views of the iconic Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Crystal Palace is the perfect venue to spend a day with talented authors from all around Australia.

With more than 50 authors scheduled to appear, you’re bound to find your next read amongst the independent and traditionally published authors showcasing their work.

Signed Paperbacks

Our authors will have paperbacks available on the day to purchase. Paperbacks are personally signed by the author. As we expect a number of people in attendance, authors may sell out quickly. To secure a copy of a book, please see authors who currently have pre-order forms available. 

Event FAQ's

What time does the event start?

The event begins at 12:30pm for VIP ticket holders. General Admission will be allowed to enter from 2pm onwards.

Am I allowed to leave the event and come back in?

You are welcome to leave the venue and re-enter at anytime. Please make sure you have your ticket on your phone or print out for staff to check upon entry.

Are children allowed in the event and do they need a ticket?

Children over the age of 5 will require a child ticket upon entry. We do remind families that some authors may have suggestive book covers on display as the main genre promoted at this event is romance.

Do I have to pre-order books?

Pre-ordering books is recommended to avoid missing out. However, authors will have stock on the day. Please bear in mind some authors are traveling from interstate and may have limited stock available.

What payment methods do authors accept on the day?

Most authors will accept EFT or cash on the day. To reduce the risk of the spread of Covid-19, we strongly suggest Tap & Go where available. There is an ATM inside Luna Park should you require cash out.

Is there any food or drink available inside the venue?

Inside the ballroom is a coffee cart with drinks and light snacks to purchase. For a wider range of hot food, there are several options inside Luna Park.

Are photos allowed with authors?

Yes, photos are permitted with authors. However, out of courtesy, we recommend asking permission from each author.

What happens if I purchased a ticket and can no longer attend the event?
